Project introduction

With Disney’s generous support in 2015-2017, STC has been working in 3 schools and 3 communities in 3 different townships in Xichang municipality to build the resilience and capacity of children, schools and communities against disasters. The goal of the project is to make children more resilient against future disasters and all-hazard risks through using a comprehensive approach to school safety, piloting materials (including FDPAB, teacher guidance and learning activities, visual presentation materials, and Family Disaster Plan) and trainings, and engaging key stakeholders.
